LD40

LD40 is the lighter profile of the HD40R range, a 400 mm square aluminium truss with Ø50 × 3 mm main tubes and lighter diagonals. The v2 specification lists 25 × 3 mm braces in EN AW-6082 T6 aluminium, a weight of approximately 11 kg/m and the Sg2 (50 mm) connection system.

The HD40R range covers medium to heavy-duty applications with the HD40R, HD40 and LD40 profiles, all with a 400 mm square section. It is widely used for vertical tower applications, particularly within MT series truss systems: HD40 is commonly used in MT and MT-X structures, while HD40R is designed for higher-load, reinforced applications such as MT-EX.
