DT-EX

DT-EX is the extreme heavy-duty upgrade of the Giant Truss DT series, with the main tube strengthened from 60 × 6 mm to Ø100 × 8 mm. It has a 1140 mm × 650 mm section, 50 × 4 mm and 40 × 3 mm sub tubes and 40 × 3 mm braces in EN AW-6082 T6 aluminium, and weighs 48 kg/m.

Assembly uses the SG5 (100 mm) connection system. The catalogue rates DT-EX for a 44 m (144 ft) clear span, with loading chart values from 8 m to 44 m and cantilever values from 2 m to 8 m.
