S 700 refers to the high-strength structural steel grade used in selected Giant Truss systems where reduced section weight and high structural performance are required. The catalogue identifies S700 material in the ST-100 and GST15 product families. When correctly engineered and fabricated, this grade supports demanding temporary-structure applications while allowing efficient component design. Material thickness, welding procedure, corrosion protection and allowable loads are specific to the finished component and must be taken from its certified technical documentation rather than from the steel grade alone.
